Lie on the floor with your knees bent and hands behind your head. Do not pull yourself up with your hands, shoulders, or neck. Do not go all the way up as this is uneccessary.

- Exhale and raise your torso up so as to 'crunch' your abdominal area.
- Inhale as you lower yourself back down fully.
